Power steering pump is mainly divided into mechanical hydraulic, electro-hydraulic power steering system and electric power steering system. The mechanical hydraulic power steering system works through hydraulic pump, oil pipe, pressure and flow control valve body and other parts to reduce the labor intensity of the driver and improve the safety and economy of the vehicle. The electro-hydraulic power steering system overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional hydraulic power steering system through the electronic hydraulic power steering system, and uses the electric pump to drive, improving the efficiency and accuracy of the steering. The electric power steering system uses the power generated by the motor to assist the driver in power steering, transmits signals to the electronic control unit through the torque (steering) sensor, and then the electronic control unit issues action instructions, so that the motor output the corresponding steering torque according to the specific needs, thus providing a more relaxed driving experience and better car handling. The working principle of the power steering pump involves the sliding valve in the pump body to control the oil flow and ensure the stability of the system.
